This so-called “conservative” lady friend of Mikey’s swooning over Barry 0 is a pretty strange story as well.

Not true? Savage has been for bringing Romney in on the ticket for awhile and thought that it would’ve been a slam dunk to victory, repeat to victory, what’s getting lost in all this Palin emotional euphoria is that Savage feels that McCain has just blown the nomination with this pick.

Checkers NEVER says anything good about Savage, sometimes you do, so I’m not sure what team you’re really on.

How much foreign policy experience did Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan have?

I hate to paraphrase Rumsfeld. We don't have the dream ticket we'd like, but we go to battle the evil demoncrat scourge with the ticket we've got.

It ain't perfect. Those conservatives we'd probably like to see in public office wouldn't dream of doing so. We know them. We've seen them throughout our lives, working hard at their businesses, volunteering in their communities, raising their families. Living lives of decency, honor and duty. The unsung folks that live everywhere in this country.

I've heard Palin didn't get into politics by conscious decision. But, it happened. Perhaps Palin is one of those unsung and unknown who just happened to be given the opportunity by Providence to become a leader. Who knows.

So far, I like what I've heard. I'd like to hear more and see what this ticket will become. I have a faith in the future and the events that can transform our current situation.

Unlike Savage, I'm not going to react without seeing what effect this combination can have on this election cycle.

You are wasting your breath. The Savage bashing contingency would like to think that Savage “jumped the shark”, or “has gone too far this time”, but they will never realize that “it's one man's opinion”. Savage isn't always right, he's said that countless times. When he's right he toots his horn. Today he's wrong in my opinion. Will I throw a hissy-fit and scratch him off my listening day because he said something I disagree with? No, because the other couple of thousand times he was dead on the money buys him some room for mistakes.

“Savage says, “It’s over. Obama won.” Good grief!!!”

Savage also said McCain was lousy at the Saddleback forum and he was foaming at the mouth angry because Waren did not ask him the questions Savage would of asked. It was at the forum where the McCain campaign turned around. But I guess that does not matter to Savage.

My opinion on the Savage show it should be bagged in a plain brown wrapper and marked for novelty use only.

How many wives and mothers of 5 do you see running for political office? It's just not in their DNA to do that. Why is this Palin willing to juggle her domestic duties while at the same time running for political office, women just don't do that so something is not right to me about that.

I'm not happy about the choice either but it is what it is, our enemies are men, I'm not for sending the wives and mothers of our country to lead us in the fight against them when we have qualified men available to do that job.

Women and men ARE different, they think different, they reason different, they are more pacifist in nature, I want men in power who are willing and not afraid to go to war when necessary.

“All you infidels can think what you want about this Palin pick, but women by nature do not lean conservative”

May I remind you of Margret Thatcher?

Aah yes Maggie Thatcher, one of a kind, the Iron Lady, even Savage said he wouldn’t mind if that was the type we were getting for a VP, unfortunately, it’s not.

Bill Clinton was terrible, so was Carter. Reagan had a resume as a tough guy and thats how he served in the White House, Palin is not a Reagan.

I would suspect that Palin loves her country as much as any of us do.

Much like Maggie Thatcher and Golda Mier loved their countries. Strong leaders, both. And female.

While I reject the characterization of strong women as being somewhat strange, I can understand the opposition many folks have to women who don't seem to stay in their place. I don't agree with it, but I recognize it exists and is endemic to the male psyche.

By Savage’s next show he will come around, admit he was wrong and jump on board. This is Savage’s perfect pick. He went into this one without any knowledge of the candidate and formed an opinion before he had the facts.

He does that often.

You are wasting your breath.

Well you know when Savage is right on an issue, I don't feel like I'm wasting my breath, I never tire of spouting 'truth', when Savage is right, whenever I feel Savage is wrong about something I don't have much to say, actually I can't remember Savage being wrong about anything, some things he talks about I just have no opinion on or it's over my knowledge level to make any comment about.

I do know women are not meant to rule over men and a woman President would be doing just that. Of course that idea is antiquated by today's PC standards and Savage could not get away with saying that on the air today eventho he probably believes that also, lol.
