I honestly wondered how long it would be before Democrats tried to “Dan Quayle” Sarah Palin. Well, not on my watch! The MSM are no longer in control of the spin.
At the same time, they also tell us that they feel a woman (with the same or perhaps even more experience) is a huge risk.
You are so right. Hitting out at Sarah for inexperience is really going to blow up in their faces.
This is going to be so much fun to watch.
Dee Dee, just because you only got your job because you were a woman doesn't mean that there aren't qualified women out there.
“Says an awful lot about their true beliefs regarding women, doesn’t it?”
They feel the same way about blacks and hispanics...but no one ever questions that, either. ;)
Yep. Bring it on, Dee Dee. Keep saying that someone with this level os experience isn’t really really ready to be president. :)
Hey, Dee Dee, two hits would have been more than enough this morning. If you’re gonna smoke the whole joint, you shouldn’t operate machinery or give interviews.
Sarah Palin has done more as Gov than Clinton had in 1992.
Dee Dee Myers is full of it.
This is such an excellent point and needs to be mentioned over and over and over.
susie
That's what some people conclude when they hear Dee Dee speak.
Dee Dee Myers = Sexist (she also accused Palin of being an ‘Aunt Tom’, if you will)
She could have run for the nomination herself if she had the stomach for it. Most good people don’t.
Paul Begala ain’t happy either. The more they panic and whine, the more they confirm it was a good pick.
Dee Dee Myers (born Margaret Jane Myers on 1 September 1961 in Providence, Rhode Island) served as White House Press Secretary for the first two years of the Clinton administration, from January 20, 1993 to December 22, 1994. In the first months of the Clinton Administration she was widely seen as something of a spokesperson, as Clinton adviser George Stephanopoulos actually conducted the daily press briefings instead of Myers. However, after a few verbal missteps by Stephanopoulos early in the administration, Myers took over the traditional role of the press secretary.
Myers holds the distinction of being the first woman to serve as White House Press Secretary, as well as being the second-youngest press secretary ever. However, she felt she was being treated unfairly on account of her gender. For instance, she revealed in her memoir that when she discovered that she had a lower salary than her predecessor, her request to have it raised appropriately was refused for budgetary reasons. When she pointed out that a certain male coworker in a position of less responsibility than herself was being paid more, they excused it as because he was older and had a family, which struck her as a disingenuous excuse for the favoritism.

just not a republican women right Dee Dee
McCain has the experience to pick the VP that has enough experience.
ya dee dee, like you would for the ticket if anyone else were put on there
1) Dee Dee has accomplished 1/10 what Quayle has, so if he’s so stupid what is she?
2) The Dems are apoplectic - which tells me they know the match is OVER.
Heck! I like her, and trust her, more than I do McCain!
I have less forebodings about her stepping into the top job than I do about the compulsive liar and yellow belly sap sucker Biden...Should the POTUS become incapable of fulfilling the duties of his office.
