Yes! McCain honors the Republican Party and its base, picks who I think just may have the most mettle and leadership potential of our younger leaders, and makes the bold choice.

Would it be ideal if she’d a few more years experience? Perhaps. But looking at Obama’s and Clinton’s experience, recognizing that she’s come up in executive government positions, has such an extraordinary approval rating as guv, and speaks to issues and the press so well I think McCain’s got to get kudos from every serious Republican, as a start.

These words from Bill Clinton’s speech the other night may just bite him, and Obama, in the butt:

“Together, we prevailed in a campaign in which the Republicans said I was too young and too inexperienced to be commander in chief. Sound familiar? It didn’t work in 1992, because we were on the right side of history. And it won’t work in 2008, because Barack Obama is on the right side of history.”
