I’m not impressed - she says “common good” a little too much in her speeches.

That said, I’ll vote for the McCain ticket.

I truly expected Romney to be the pick, but I am thus far very pleased with Palin. I sure hope this works.

Female Democrats in New England are spitting blood over McCain’s choice of Palin. Good.

She gives one hell of a speech. I hope she can speak and think on her feet in a debate. She says nucular like military folks and that's a good sign. I need to know more. But so far, I like her.

I think Palin is about the best pick McCain could have made. She’s as conservative as anyone McCain could have reasonably been expected to choose. Bound to help with the women’s vote. She seems fresh and well-spoken. If she’s up to snuff on the issues she should do well in debate against Biden who comes off as snide and sour. I was afraid McCain was going make a totally out of left field unacceptable choice like Lindsay Graham.

I’m really happy with Palin as VP. If I hadn’t said “May I be struck dead if I vote for McCain for President”, I’d probably hold my nose and vote for the guy. I’m not too superstitious to campaign for him though. Hah, hah.

Go Palin/RINO!

I would like to hear what Palin says about how she will deal with illegal immigration, but as an overall conservative, she is certainly a better pick than Grahmnesty, Lieberman, Ridge, or Pawlenty. She's probably a better pick than Romney.

After hearing this announcement on the radio here at work, I am quite pleased John McCain has made this decision for Sarah Palin. I also can’t wait for her to debate Joe “Holier-than-thou” Bigmouth; that will prove quite interesting. Mr. Caustic vs. Mrs. Conservative Beliefs, I can’t wait to watch that one! Hurrah!

Just got back from The Nutter Center. Kudos to John McCain for making this pick. The crowd was loud and proud and Sarah P. was fantastic.

Well, not that we don’t need to keep pounding BO until the last posssible second, but — dare I say — L-A-N-D-S-L-I-D-E?

I think there’s a VERY strong possibility that the US map of states going for McCain on the evening of Nov 4th will call to mind that same map circa 1984.

We’ll see, but I’m very optimistic.

Palin is a compelling pick...

As I was watching her introduction, I had hoped I would hear the following:

"Some say that we need CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN. That's fine, but what we really need is CHANGE WE CAN COUNT ON."

You must be a happy puppy today. I haven’t heard any one who is disappointed with Palin. Even at Walter Reed last night, talk was positive.

And Thanks for giving her up for the better good.

PALIN in 2012!!
