You can’t complain that you don’t know what you’re going to get if you watch his show. He shouldn’t be worried about his critics, he should be worried about his ratings.

I’M old enough to remember watching election coverage and actually wondering what announcers thought about the candidates they covered.
Some smartass conservative Congressman should propose the
“Media full disclosure doctrine”.
Any “newsy” that doesn’t openly proclaim what his biases are, and thereby is claiming “objectivity”, must disclose both his voting and donation record for the past 2-3 election cycles. This information must be displayed whenever the newsy is pontificating in the media.

What Matthews was engaging in was a bizarre, purely creepy sort of mental masturbation. It was literally beyond a level that you could point at and say "Bias" or laugh at, and it was truly indicative of a psychological problem.
I couldn't even watch it all - Not because I disagreed with him or was being angered by what he was saying but because the man is actually sick in the head and I couldn't handle listening to him beat off.

It’s amazing that people who should be informing us about the world, end up leaving this world on a flight of pure fantasy, where words point to words, point to higher words, point even yet to the highest words. As Peggy Noohnan and Hitchens already remarked: What does anybody really remember from Obama’s speeches? It’s not the speech but the event, the temple, the confetti shot out of canons, the fire works, the symphony of words — a Madonna concert with sex as religion overtones. Matthews and other news people get sucked into the orgy of adoration and spectacle and should, if they are responsible to the objectivity that their work demands from them, resign... or, like all celebrities with problems, go into rehab.
