Earlier on FishbowlDC: "ABC News Producer Arrested in Denver"
We've learned that ABC News' associate producer Asa Eslocker has been advised by his lawyers not to speak about the events of yesterday, when he was arrested for filming outside the Brown Palace Hotel.
We've also learned that the hotel today admitted that, no, they don't own the sidewalk, thereby making their arrest of Eslocker all the more suspect.
A memo from Eslocker's lawyers, as well as notes from the ACLU and Reporters Without Borders after the jump...

There MUST have been Obama supporters there that the DNC REALLY, REALLY, did not want to have photographed.
The Dems will broadcast a new show, “Brown eye for the Brown Palace Hotel.”
Dems are running the show in Denver. This is all one needs to know about the New Nazicrat Party.
I hope the cigar chomping sergeant who choked the reporter on video, the officer who pushed the man into traffic on video, and the officer who threatened the citizen on camera with Youre lucky I didnt knock the f..k out of you. are all FIRED.
Very unprofessional law enforcement in Denver gives a black eye to LEO everywhere.
do you have a link to video?
Trust me. They got the job done. If they get fired and keep their mouth shut, Soros and his buddies will open a big door for them.
Free press my @$$ !!!
I saw the reporter catch Democrat Senator Lautenberg (NJ) leaving the lobbyist bash. Good reporting by ABC. A call probably went to city hall and thugs were sent to break up the ABC work. I hope they follow it to the end.
Exactly, and the Dem delegates staying there did not want to be filmed Why?
The Dems did not want folks back home to see them walking into the Hotel with their mistresses and working girls ( Escorts), and the Hotel knew that if the camera crew remained, sooner or later they would be seen as a Hotel that lives up to its name for professioally offered anal intercourse!
The BROWN PALACE would become a laughing stock, and the clientel would move elsewhere to a more obscure location to have their jolly company.
You bet they arrested the camera man. ANd the case will involve whether the Hotel has a right of privacy, along with the clientel staying there.
And it was no accident that the film crew was there. They were hoping to catch and create a scandal. The question is," WHo was the media's target?"
