Maybe Pawlenty is a great guy and his kids love him.

But ripping off GOP Governors has been a disaster for the party (Remember Govs. Ridge, Thompson, Engler, Whitman(ugh) ????)

But I don’t see how Pawlenty helps us anywhere but in making MN competitively (not a winner, just a possibility).

I’d love to see Bobby Jindal but I would still oppose it because we would lose a star at the place where he is the MOST effective - running a state which shows that Republicans are better executives than our opponents.

So Intrade had it figured as Romney, until everyone started saying it was Pawlenty, then Intrade figured it was Pawlenty....

I’ve never believed the predictive power of these trading sites.

Sad if Irish bookies in Dublin have better sources in the McCain campaign than we do here.

Glad it’s not Mitt, who would be a disaster, but nObama made a big mistake with Biden and McCain had a great chance to exploit that but instead chooses a boring ho hum running mate. Damn that pisses me off.

Where I hoped Sarah Palin would be the VP choice, and McCain would win easily, now I'm not holding out too much hope.

Between now and November, look for Osama/Obama to be hyped 24/7 on every news show, every talk show on TV, etc., until the masses of un-washed and un-productive rally to the polls (along with all their dead relatives) to put this Nation back 50 years or more.....

With a Democrat House, Democrat Senate, and the resultant 2 or 3 USSC Justices they place, it will take a true revolution to get back our Constitutional rights and protections.

Very sad.

Romney is such an obvious choice for victory.

But wouldn't it be nice to have a Christian in there instead?

I’m going to hold out until an announcement is made. If it is Pawlenty, it says much about McCain.
