McCain Himself Accuses Obama of Courting Infanticide
LifeSiteNews ^ | 8/28/08 | John-Henry Westen

WASHINGTON, August 28, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The mainstream media has yet to notice, but Senator McCain last week directly accused Barack Obama of courting infanticide.  While the pro-life movement in the nation has been on the issue for weeks, McCain himself delivered the punch line in his radio address for August 23.

McCain noted Obama's vote against the Illinois version of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which McCain described as a "law to require medical care for babies who survive abortions."  McCain added to that description: "living, breathing babies whom Senator Obama described as, quote, 'previable.'"

McCain also accused Obama of lying on the matter, a fact which is well known to pro-life Americans who have followed the saga.

"At Saddleback, he [Obama] assured a reporter that he'd have voted 'yes' on that bill if it had contained language similar to the federal version of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act," said McCain. "Even though the language of both the state and federal bills was identical, Senator Obama said people were, quote, 'lying' about his record."  McCain concluded: "When that record was later produced, he dropped the subject but didn't withdraw the slander. And now even Senator Obama's campaign has conceded that his claims and accusations were false."

Taking a shot at Obama's now famous "above my pay grade" cop out on the question of when life begins, McCain concluded his message saying: "I can assure you that if I am president, advancing the cause of life will not be above my pay grade."

Why couldn't Bush ever say anything like this?

"Why couldn't Bush ever say anything like this? "

Bush thought his compassionate conservatism would win him favors from the Democrats, instead he has become the most slandered President in history.

See why Juan won’t pick Tom or Joe?

Abortion is one of those issues that Barack Hussein Obama looks like the cold bloodless marxist that he really is when it comes up - there’s no way to be more extreme on the issue than he is, and McCain should call him out on this.

Even decision to take a toilet break is above the chosen one’s pay grade.

He should also accuse Obama (accurately, I might add) of being a radical, marxist, gungrabbing, unqualified, d*ckweed.

Both his parents were pro abortion until Poppy was named for VP, after which he magically changed his tune. None of the Bushes ever much gave a damn about prolife issues.

Don't be ridiculous. The chosen one doesn't need to take toilet breaks.

Obama is way to the left even of most people who identify themselves as “pro-choice.” He’s very vulnerable on this issue.

Finally, McCain is saying what needs to be said. Hopefully, we’ll be hearing more talk like this at the GOP Convention.

I considered myself an average officer. I loved being a platoon leader, a battery commander, just being around my soldiers.

All I can say is, I saw way too many officers who never should have been allowed near the troops. They made decent staff officers, for the most part. OTOH, I saw my share of staff pukes who just plain liked to screw with anyone from a subordinate command. They simply thought they ran the show, these "perfumed princes" and "Courtney Massengales."

Maybe that's why I had such a great time as an S-4 (Supply Officer). Nobody really wanted that job, so there was a great deal of autonomy. Having been in the battalion for 3 years, I pretty much knew everybody, and had a multitude of experiences under my belt. Finally, the job came easy to me, as my degree was in public accounting.

Most importantly, I had great people working with me, especially my warrant and NCOs. We had a great team, and we didn't let the REMFs screw with us. Anytime there was a dispute, the "old man" backed us 100%.

Obama & Biden are classic "staff puke REMFs". In my mind, there's no worse perjorative than that.
