Here’s the thing. If I were a socialist leaning type, I’d love this. I don’t drive anywhere I absolutely don’t have to. I work at home, and live in a paradise, have seen more of the world than I ever wanted to, so why would I want to go anywhere?
Anytime some bureaucrat gets to throw us at his scales and determine his choice of which of us gets the goodies I get nervous. Even when it would be to my benefit.
