Well sit here until we get thrown out, she says, firmly but quietly, after the manager protests at our not wanting dinner. Still free loading after all these years.......

"Well sit here until we get thrown out, she says, firmly but quietly, after the manager protests at our not wanting dinner. So she felt some entitlement to use someone else's property at her leisure without providing any compensation? Of course, she supports Obama.
It would take me 5 seconds after she said that to send the b*tch flying out the door.

"Well sit here until we get thrown out, she says, firmly but quietly, after the manager protests at our not wanting dinner" Apparently she thinks the owner of the restaurant does not deserve to make money by actually SERVING DINNER but merely exist to provide free space for her to occupy and dawdle over tea.
Way to "stick it to THE MAN" Ms Baez. His wife and children should starve and then go on welfare to collect tax money that he could have paid if you had BOUGHT SOMETHING

Well sit here until we get thrown out, she says, firmly but quietly, after the manager protests at our not wanting dinner. I see that time time hasn't dimmed the arrogance.
BTW, Joan Baez was alone, I believe, of the 60s anti-war activists to later condemn the North Vietnamese regime as a bunch of "Stalinist Generals", after they sent millions of South Vietnamese to re-education camps, and created the Boat People.
Unfortunately, she learned nothing from this tragedy, as she is willing to risk a genocide in Iraq were we to pull out when the anti-war movement and Obama was urging us to do so.

For a brief moment in the early Sixties Dylan and Baez were the king and queen of the folk movement, the perfect couple to lead the young of America towards a new consciousness. But while Baez stuck to cover versions and causes, Dylan took off on a poetic journey all his own, hitching on the coat-tails of Baezs fame and then leaving her behind to become the foremost songwriter of the 20th century.
