My government teacher in 12th grade said he wouldn’t be surprised if in our lifetime Mexico and the US (possibly Canada) merged. I don’t know if he WANTED it but it was still scary to think about.

Three words: North American Union. Michael Medved told me not to worry about it. But, Mike Medved has "an encyclopedic mind." (At least that's what he used to say when I could still stand to listen to him.)
(When I learned that Medved was pro-amnesty, I realized he wasn't a conservative and stopped listening to him.)
