Post 40 was for you too; but FR always drops your username when I try to ping you.
Just don’t quit your day job to become a full time lobbyist.
;-)
Cantor would be a superior pick. I hope McCain goes for it.
I will even take my darn McCain signs out of my trunk. They have been sitting there since his open house. Did you go to the open house? (regional campaign office).
General Dan Petraeus. (my pick)
Last I checked active members of the military cannot run for office. He just reported to his post and would have to resign.
>>>Nope. I’ve been keeping a lid on my McCain enthusiasm until the VP pick. That will tell us a lot.
Me too. I had to go to the open house though. Our org is hosting the office.
The group that will decide the presidential election in Michigan is working-class, socially conservative Democrats from Downriver, Dearborn, Macomb, the Thumb, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City and the UP, who are voters that don’t like Obama but will hold their noses and vote for him if they don’t think that the Republicans will stand up for the right to life, traditional marriage and the right to keep and bear arms. John McCain can win enough of those voters to carry the state if he picks as his runningmate a proven social conservative who hunters and values voters can trust. Due to his liberal record, Mitt Romney is not trusted by social conservatives irrespective of how much he claims to have become a social conservative over the past 5 years. Picking Eric Cantor will bring those socially conservative Democrats over to our side, and the fact that he’s Jewish certainly won’t hurt in West Bloomfield, the northeastern part of Southfield and other Jewish parts of Oakland County.
bump
If there’s going to be a surprise,
Let it be Jindal!!!
I relly hope McCain picks somone soon so I don’t have to see another hundred of your Cantor Posts, forum pollution...

Given McCain has made his choice, a moot article, but interesting that:
Could it be Cantor?

Also this tidbit headline from VodkaPundit
“Rumor Mill
“That said, Ive gotten tons of information about a company I was going to buy by putting on blue jeans, a shirt, going to a nearby bar, and drinking beer.
Presume it works that way in politics, too.”

Given that Kay Bailey just said “not me,” it’s Pawlenty or Cantor.

Yes, you are correct...but I can dream.
Logically, his next move ‘could’ be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs in the next administration.
David Petraeus. And please, let's leave him where he is, winning a war and saving lives.
