Obama Campaign Confronts WGN Radio (Directs ObamaNazis to Target Stanley Kurtz Interview Tonight)

Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is organizing its supporters tonight to confront Tribune-owned WGN radio in Chicago for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its air.

"WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears," Obama's campaign wrote in an e-mail to supporters. "He's currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers."

Kurtz, a conservative writer, recently wrote an article for the National Review that looked at Obama's ties to former 1960s radical William Ayers.

The magazine had been blocked in its initial attempts to obtain records from the University of Illinois at Chicago regarding the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which Obama chaired and Ayers co-founded. The school later reserved its position and made the records available Tuesday.

Obama's campaign is urging supporters to call the radio station to complain.

"Tell WGN that by providing Kurtz with airtime, they are legitimizing baseless attacks from a smear-merchant and lowering the standards of political discourse," the note said.

"It is absolutely unacceptable that WGN would give a slimy character assassin like Kurtz time for his divisive, destructive ranting on our public airwaves," the note continued. "At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz's lies."

That’s so true. The media seems to do a good job of vetting our side of the aisle while they act like ostriches when it comes to the Democrats.

The net is helping do jobs those particular Americans either don’t or won’t.

And to the groups who are angry over use of clips of Bill Ayers' interviews: ENCOURAGE voters to see the naked communist ranting of bringing armed revolution insurgency to America. That'll do wonders for turning the Democrat base off. There is no "out of context" for the rants of the Weather Underground or Jeremiah Wright's Black Liberation Movement affiliated church. These organizations go back to the very beginning of the Weatherman.

And Bill Ayers is unrepented to this day.

My FRiends, this is crazy. I am an optimist and know this election isn’t over yet but being shown the actual stakes has left me with a knot in my stomach.

Our most vocal, charismatic, and accessible advocates are those we may lose the most under an Obama bin Biden admin.
Noticeably absent from the entire BC scandal , are some very prominent talking heads...tv and radio.

Rush, Sean, Ingraham, Levin, Hewitt, Medved, Coulter, Fox News and even sellout Drudge have not uttered one sound about Obama’s submission of two fake BirthCerts.
Are they just going to turn over and play dead now until they collect their last big paychecks.
If Levin has a full boat then the whole table knows. He could not have held back on a LAWSUIT story for any reason if it involved Obama.

They seek to shut us up, disarm us, tax us, and will then enslave us to work for the State when we have nothing left to give. It is so appalling that they get away with silencing people when burning the Flag is an act of protected speech.

The scariest part is the ONE THING I thought would never happen in a place like America. A place that we are so free that anyone can now infiltrate our ranks and use our most presccious freedoms against us.
