As I posted on another thread (a week or two ago?), Martin helped torpedo the Fred campaign with false rumors, and listed The Daily Kos as one of his favorite websites.

I could always tell from the occasional smirk or look in his eyes that he had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun (already knew he was brilliant). I was right. At any rate, bylaws are at best gentlemans' rules, and at worst mere speed bumps for a "maverick" candidate.

It would be amazing if McCain decided to shoot himself in the foot, just as he's starting to edge past Obama in the polls. Arrogance cuts both ways, I guess, and human nature's capacity for self-destruction is often limitless.
