Joe Biden supposedly will attract Catholics to the Democratic ticket, but not if he follows Pope Nancy Pelosi for doctrinal guidance. In a profile of Biden for the Christian Science Monitor, Biden credits his Catholicism for his focus on abuse of power, but shrugs off the abortion debate as a minor controversy. He even goes on to tell Gail Russell Chaddock that his views on social issues fall completely within Catholic doctrine

Let’s apply the “Obama Standard” here, shall we??
Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden weren’t even born yet when the Catholic Church came up with all of those silly old definitions about life...
It must be a religion of convenience. Or is it the presence of the Messiah.
Peelousy and Bid’n his time have managed to outrage 60 million Catholics. Nice work for a couple of wanna’ be’s.
Keep talking, keep talking Joe (as if you could help it).
I know dozens of my fellow Catholics that Biden won’t be drawing to vote D in November. How any Catholic who is the least bit serious about their faith can vote for an infanticide candidate is beyond me.
“...but shrugs off the abortion debate as a minor controversy..”
I think it would be good if the bishops excommunicated Pelosi and Biden, exclude them from the sacraments and offer them eternity in hell as a reward for their abortion views.
Of course, neither Pelosi nor Biden are Catholics and their arrogance won’t be diminished until the hour of their death.
Well there goes the Catholic vote ....
Flyfree - I like that ....
“Keep talking, keep talking Joe (as if you could help it).”

Pathetic liar and a numb skull for president. Osama bin Biden
Good piece. If we had REAL journalism in the MSM, this is how they’d cover these who use claims of being Catholic, and sharing those values, to appeal to voters when they fall far afoul of Church teaching and blatantly misrepresent it as well.
Why doesn’t the Catholic church excommunicate these people?
