KB, of course. But, as I said, that was six hours ago.

Doesn't Bubba speak tonight? It would be funny if McCain announced his VP in time to step all over Bill's minute in the sun, LOL.

Drudge has a headline up, "McCain has picked his VP..developing"..but that's just Drudge's way to get extra hits.

Normally I would agree...but the opportunity to split the dhimmcrats (female vote) for years to come is just too tempting to pass up.

“Domenici said Hutchison, a former newscaster, is especially good at television, and could be helpful to McCain on the stump. Obviously, she’s a woman, and generally supports abortion rights, which could possibly help lure some disenchanted former Hillary Clinton voters who refuse to vote for Barack Obama.”

Most of those Veep candidates leave the ticket with another stodgy old rich white guy brand. If McCain chooses someone young and/or female and/or minority who comes from a middle class background, he injects a vibrancy that will be appealing to the under 40 generation and may pick up the PUMAs. He could even beat Obama at his own game by selling a partner who enthusiastically celebrates the greatness of the United States because of the opportunity afforded them - one that attributes the success they have achieved to hard work, an equal playing field, a mobile class society and the ability of an individual to make their own destiny in our country. We might even get some energy behind the party pick.

If Jonathan Martin at Politico.com is correct about McCain's campaigning plans with his VP this weekend , Cantor is not in the running.
The GOP nominee-in-waiting will move to immediately change the campaign conversation from Barack Obama’s football stadium acceptance speech Thursday to the new Republican ticket, to be revealed at a noontime Friday rally in a Dayton, Ohio, basketball arena. McCain and his running mate will then travel by bus to Pennsylvania, where they’ll hold an outdoor event at a minor league baseball stadium in Washington County, just southwest of Pittsburgh. On Sunday, the duo will head to suburban St. Louis for another event to be held at a minor league baseball stadium, this one in O’Fallon, Mo.

The Missouri rally is being billed to local Republicans as something of a unity rally, since it will feature McCain, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee — the GOP presidential finalists who effectively divided the vote three ways in the Show Me State’s Super Tuesday primary. A McCain aide warned not to read too much into McCain’s planned guests, however.
I sincerely doubt that the Pittsburgh even will be on Friday before sundown.

When he ran for Congress, Cantor did not even want volunteers to campaign for him on the Sabbath. Unless Cantor has suddenly decided that he can campaign, as Byron York has suggested, Cantor can't be at the Pittsburgh event.

(PS. If you google "Eric Cantor Sabbath" my last post come up first place. I win!

Who is that ????

Over on the Dem Convention thread the MittNittWitts are planning to cry and drown their silly selves in bubble baths...

Well at least tomorrow they’ll be clean and have thumping headaches and may be too miserable to post for a while...

And the red eyes ....

Not good life choices...

Since my Baptist Congressman Zach Wamp started running for the House in 1992 he has never campaigned on a Sunday..

I think he still to this day teaches a men’s Sunday School class in his Church in Chattanooga...

People respect him for it...

Nobody has ever held it against him...
