I shudder to think how close we came to having that fool Kerry as president. Horrifying.
The Founding Fathers saw fit to give us instruments with which to nurture and sustain the Republic. Unfortunately, it was not within their power to give us the resolve or inclination to do so as well. That is the living element we must provide that breathes life into the founding documents of this nation.
I agree about the shudder part, both Gore and Jean Claude Kerry apply. Call it what you will, liberalism, socialism, marxism, it comes in many packages and flavors or is sold as such often... it permeates the society we live in. Eradicating it literally begins at home.
