You have to remember - Denver is a very large city. Not every call you hear is related to the DNC groups. On any given day there are fires, people hurt, cars stolen, etc... etc... Everything you would expect in a large city. Now, when you hear them mentioning the “DNC” they are referring to their cops specifically assigned to watch over the convention and the protests.

Old school Commies were far tougher than the current crop of teenaged Trotskys and Lenin wannabes. Even the 1960s hippie antiwar protesters would go down fighting. A lot of the anarchist tactics are standard leftist operating procedures going back to the days of the IWW, down to the cries of police brutality and the use of fecal matter. The main difference is that the modern day protesters lack the stamina and physical courage of their forbears.
