I can recall about a year ago this same nonsense made the news, and at the time there was an article that said it was not unusual to see polar bears swim for miles from ice flow to ice flow. Can't remember where I saw it but I suspect it was here.
In any event, I would expect polar bear carcasses would float in salt water. Haven't hear of an uptick in recovered drowned polar bears.
This sort of reminds me of cats that are ‘trapped’ up in the branches of a tree and can’t get down.
How many cat corpses or skeletons have you ever seen in the branches of trees?
Me neither.

I guess the real question here is for Susanne as why she allowed tehm to die? If a child was drowning she would (maybe) save it. If it was a puppy she would have saved it. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 10 fuzzy Coke drinking polar bears are left to die in open waters so one enviorMENTAL nut job can make her 15 mins of fame other wise reserved for her failed hairy armpit online porn business! Pathetic Polar Bear killer!

Why don't the liberals; "help" the very (cute, cuddly :) hungry polar bear, into their small dry boat.
....of course; while trying to "communicate" to (the very) hungry bear; they're fweelings / overwhelming guilt about "Mother Earth". 
...but do they pee and poop in the pool?
