However, I truly believe we all REALLY need to start using the proper word for what they are selling - it’s COMMUNISM pure and simple. I agree they are using the whole Marxist class warfare thing to stir things up, but still their ultimate goal is communism. There is no way in the world one could ever have a “socialist” government - socialism ONLY works in a small, self-sustaining community of like-minded individuals who choose the lifestyle VOLUNTARILY (i.e. Communes).
These Communists use the word socialism to cushion everything because they know that it doesn’t have as bad a connotation in society as the word communism... (I.E. When the Dems praise Chavez they say it is a “Socialist” government when anyone with half a brain can clearly see it’s COMMUNISM - everything owned and controlled by the state).
Sorry... this post is not meant to be aimed at you penelopesire - I know I’m preaching to the choir posting to you. :) And, I’m sorry if it sounds like I’m a little, um, witchy, in my choosing of words. I’ve been on this rant for a couple days now... And listening to the short part of Hillary’s speech I did listen to has not got me any happier! LOL
I’m just SO tired of the liberals lying, and the media calling the agitators in Denver right now “Anti-War” protestors instead of properly saying they are Communist Revolutionaries and Anarchists. (One would think the huge “The world needs Communism & Revolution” sign would’ve given the media a clue, but no-one’s ever accused the majority of them of being genuises.)

Unfortunately the Communists managed to get their hooks into Hollywood and the MSM long before you were born - unless you are well into your 70's. And they have never let go. Control of the media is the path to political power and so we find ourselves governed by wannabe Socialists/Communists who fortunately have not quite managed the leverage to kill off that evil called freedom and capitalism. This could change with 60 Democrat Senators, a larger majority in the House and Obama as President. It would be their one great chance for a total reformation of the United States. I'm very afraid that they won't pass on that chance if they get the opportunity.
