Here in WA, I think that the “Green Collar jobs” are all government jobs on the state and local level, helping to enforce the environmental regulations that are strangling the life out of the rural areas. If they aren’t hiring inspectors, they are hiring the enviro nuts to do studies to see what other regulations that they can put on us.

Green Collar Jobs are code for “we have no idea what we’re talking about.”

Their talk about cars that get 100 miles to the gallon is just another empty utopian promise. Sounds good, but not practical.
