More telling is... I’m wondering if she’s the VP pick.

Oh my goodness!! You might be onto something. The only concern is her closeness to Pres. Bush, don’t you think?

I personally think, as a woman, that the Republicans can get more vote by NOT picking just any woman. The Hillary people are die-hard Hil fans and by not picking a woman I truly believe we can capture a large part of their vote. Especially after the way Hil was snubbed and the coverage!

Eh, I don't think so. Unless your a liberal and play the brown sugar card. I know many here don't like Condi but she's can run circles around Obama and Biden in foreign affairs, especially Russia. The whole 'she's pro choice' isn't entirely accurate either as she has stated several times she only supports abortion if its rape, incest, or the mother's life at stake- which reflects the thinking of many Americans.

And in terms of an American success story, she makes Obama's look like a kiddie book.

I think she’s SERIOUSLY implied many times...she doesn’t want it. Period...

Hmmmmmm. Rice is a choice that's seriously out of the box. But she's said she doesn't want the job and she's a Neocon so she should be pretty much toxic now. Plus there are questions about her personal life. Still, that's a good observation. You'd think she's have a speaking role -- even if at 3AM -- if Dick Cheney has a speaking role. She's probably the one woman who could beat the pants off Biden in a debate.

I was thinking about Condi this morning after remembering Juan Williams’ breakdown over Michelle's speech last night. Juan called it breathtaking saying that we have never heard anything like it in America. I guess Condi’s achievements in America don't count.

Especially when he also commented on Michelle being a black woman. Guess he forgot to take a real close look at Condi.

Condi is a credit to American.

John McCain may announce his choice for a running mate earlier than expected...possibly Thursday.

This may be a case where the threat is worse than the execution.

Let's see if the Mavrick will try to steal their "thunder".

I think the only “thunder” they have comes with lightening and rain. What empty suits and empty rhetoric. Cannot imagine how anyone could be thrilled to be in that crowd Thursday for Obamas speech ....just to say whatever anyone he thinks wants to hear to get elected. Amazing.....

Obama may have made a major strategic mistake in changing the venue of his acceptance speech from the podium to the middle of a football stadium.

The dynamic of the 'bounce' a Presidential nominee gets is from the energy and excitement of a closed in hall as he makes his entrance, fires off his speech, basks in the demostration and then brings his family and former adversaries for a grand show of unity.

There is every chance that his big moment in the big sky will fall as flat as his speech in the Tietergarten.

He’s made many strategic mistakes and I for one hope he keeps making them! There is no comparison between McCain and Obama....and the differences are startling.

I for one am praying for rain Thursday but either way Obama, acting like a celebrity, is getting what he deserves...lower numbers in polling and a chance for Anerica and the world to see him for who he is and who he thinks he is......
