Here in Serbia and Balkans a theory is that West, NATo and US helped destroy Yugoslavia and Serbia in order to control planned Nabocco pipeline trough Balkans. ===
I hear your point, but there is small problem with that logic - I do not think there were no plans for Nabocoo pipeline in 1999. I think it was PSG consortium that was trying to lay pipeline in Caspian sea around 1999, but it fell apart because approaches taken wit Turkmens were completely wrong, and insofar BP and Azeri gas is concerned, back then they were not even sure if they were going to build South Caspian Pipeline into Turkey (let alone any continuation thereof), because their drilling were showing very bad results, and back in 2000 I think it was that they were really concerned with feasibility of oil pipeline as well, because the cost of oil at that time could not justify the costs of its construction.

One of the better articles on the subject, also tracing Putin's rise to power post NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia.

No, plans for exact pipeline came later, but geography of Balkans is that ANY pipeline MUST go across Yugoslavia.
And Even Russian “Blue Stream”
SO, ONLY TWO REAL wars in former Eastern Europe were those in ex Yugoslavia and Georgia!
It is a link. Caspian oil via GEORGIA, up to Bulgaria ACROSS Former Yugoslavia to EU!
So, Serbs and Georgians were sacrificed...
