Anyone else notice that Michelle didn't Thank her Mom in her speech?
Didn't hear any of the pundits comment on this last night.
All it would have taken was six words, Thank You Mom, I Love You.
Opportunity of a lifetime to honor the person who raised and cared for you, gave you a great video intro, and you missed it.
Shame on you Michelle.
And that's as it should be. Michelle's mother didn't sign up for the public spotlight, and the legitimate scrutiny of her daughter and son in law can proceed just as effectively without subjecting her too. So I regret having commented about her outward reaction to the speech. What transpired between Michelle and her mother over the years or exists today is between them.
As a mom, I have been the beaming one many a time. Even when my kid was a tree in the school play.
Something about them all makes me uneasy.
” And that’s as it should be “
I don’t need anything else on her Mom. I respect she was probably asked to help, and did an effective job in the intro video.
My comments are about Michelle.
I’m still not convinced we are seeing authenticity.
Carley,
I’m a Dad with a daughter.
One thing for sure, my daughter would have said the six words to her Mom/my wife.
Congrats to you for your pride in your child.
interesting topic
last Nascar race I went to, I was listening to Carl Edwards on my scanner
as he went around on the pace lap he said “thanks for being here Mom, I love you Mom”

That’s the natural part I didn’t hear / read in this speech.
“We’re seventy days from total power.”
