If anyone doubted that John McCain would target disaffected Hillary Clinton supporters, his new ad should convince the holdouts. The new spokesperson for McCain has some experience campaigning she campaigned for Hillary and was an elected delegate for her in Wisconsin until she got a little too vocal about her dislike for Barack Obama:
Im a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat. She had the experience and judgment to be President.
Now, in a first for me, Im supporting a Republican, John McCain. I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now hes the one with the experience and judgment.
A lot of Democrats will vote McCain. Its okay, really!
Debra Bartoshevich made national headlines when she publicly announced her support for John McCain after Obama won the primaries. The Wisconsin Democratic Party kicked her out of the state delegation for her apostasy, which led to her offended appearance on a local TV station. In truth, the party had little choice but to eject her, and given the reception others have received in Denver, Bartoshevich may be better off in St. Paul instead.
Id expect this to get some play during the Democratic convention itself. Team McCain says it will air in key states, but the timing of the ads release hints at heavy play this week. Having Bartoshevich make this pitch now underscores McCains willingness to fight for this election and getting creative and flexible in doing so.
Will this convince others to follow Debras lead? Eighteen million people voted for Hillary in the Democratic primaries. If McCain can capture 10-20% of those, this ad will be well worth it.

Screw the presidential election...Debra is hot!!!
MEMO TO JOHN McCAIN: MORE ADDS WITH DEBRA - PRONTO!!!!!!
Posted several times but that’s ok.
Here’s a more straightforward link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=597YG23mAWs
BTW, for those wondering, Debra is definitely NOT GUILTY! :)
Yeh...she’s too sweet looking to remain in that wretched dreck Dim party.
Has the side of her car been keyed yet? It’s just a matter of time.
This ad just aired during Special Report on FOX. A little too cutesy, but the point gets made, especially when Debra drops a Hillary sign to reveal the McCain sign behind it.
And, with Democrats being a sheeple-like lot, they might just need to see someone of their own brand whisper “It’s OK” to vote for a Republican. Or John McCain.
I just cannot get over how good McCain’s folks have been the last month on advertising.
Starting with the Celeb ad to this one, all very very good.
After the election is over and McCain has won, these series of ads will be analyzed for years to come.
They get their message across in such an effective way. Almost “American and Apple Pie” stuff. These will really touch a lot of the independent and swing voters. Compare these ads to Obama’s that I saw during the Olympics. All of his adds were harsh in their tone and message. Mostly negative. Not really telling people why they should vote for him.
I am sure by Tuesday, Obama’s people will come out and say they are offended by this ad.
McCain is anti-abortion. Look for a commercial from Osama to that affect. Most liberals are brain-dead and will pull the Osama lever on that single issue alone. Something like “John McCain opposes a woman’s right to choose. Obama will protect a woman’s choice...” yada yada. Case closed.
When the GOP or McCain ask for money to support McCain, print and send them one of these.
