It won’t matter. If the question gets the majority of voters, the Governor’s Council can (and will) declare the question invalidated for any number of reasons. They’ve done it before, and they will do it again.

The Legislature will put it back in knowing there will be no consequences.

Well the way they do it in MA is they let the people vote then pull the rug out from under us because they know better. Same will happen with the income tax repeal that we will all vote in favor of then they will just turn their back and vote themselves raises.

Agreed. California has done this plenty of times.

Coakley said today the groups proposed ballot question meets the necessary technical requirements, but added she does not necessarily support the measure. Yeah, great Martha. Your support is NOT required.
What IS required is that you do the will of The People. If you are unable to do that, resign.

Devil is doing his part to circumvent laws in other states. He will never let this go if the ballot question passes. Just another day in the fascist state of MA.
