Odd as it may seem, selecting McCain may have been the only way the GOP wins this cycle. My thoughts exactly.
I came to this realization right after Fred flamed out.
Well, maybe "flamed" isn't exactly the right word, but it was back then.

You can come down for supper when your tantrum is over, and you’re ready to apologize.
Wipe your chin.

On Meet the Press on April 11, he said, "We need Joe Biden for Secretary of State." When an astonished Tim Russert asked, "Is that an offer by President McCain?". McCain replied, "Absolutely!" Yeah. We're gonna get REAL conservative appointments out of McCain.
Sure we are!

Ok, how about to stop a communist?
To: HeartlandOfAmerica
Besides the "to stop the Dem", nobody's ever given me a good reason to vote for McCain. Okay. Since you're a Fredhead, listen to Fred. There's one reason.
Also, McCain is pro life (unlike his opponent).
He's strong on national defense(unlike his opponent).
He's got a lot of experience (unlike his opponent).
He's served in the military (unlike either man on the opposing ticket).
Although he's not much to listen to, he doesn't stammer and hem and haw as much as his empty suit opponent.

You can come down for supper when your tantrum is over, and youre ready to apologize. Nothing to contribute to the debate so fall back on insults huh?
What a dunce.

Bartoshevich explains that while she was a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat, she is unhappy that Democrats are putting Sen. Barack Obama at the top of their ticket. Well, if McCain puts Hillary on the Republican ticket, I'm sure Ms. Bartoshevich will be pleased.

Getting your talking point from Michael Savage?
Come on. Your tag line says you are a Fredhead - well so are many of us. But unlike you, - Fred and us will be watching the RNC convention next month excited about a Republican win in November.
To: HeartlandOfAmerica
So, in other words, when you said nobody had given you a single reason to vote for McCain, you were lying. Yes? You’ve heard many, many reasons. But your mind is already made up.
So how about at least being honest about it? That might help sell your “standing on principle” argument, which right now ain’t lookin’ too hot.

"It" isn't about me ...."
Apparently, it is. I counted 10 "I's", "my's" and "me's" in your post.
Novel concept ... change the party from within. Quit whining and get off your bum. Get involved. Do what YOU can to move the party in your direction.
Instead, you're going to take your vote and go home and do what you can to ensure McCain's defeat and Obama's election. And that is pretty remarkable.

My disagreement with McCain's defense standing is the same one that I have with George Bush.
It's idiocy to fight the bad guys at the front door while leaving the back door and windows wide open, ala immigration.
They really aren't defending the country as long as the borders are wide open.

Sure we are!" Compared to Obama, Hitlery, Julie, or Suckabie, no question. Ron Paul might give us better, but one has to get elected to appoint judges.

OK. I've had enough of this.
You guys and gals go take your McCain idol and vote for him.
I'll vote my values and I'll talk to yas after his first term with my list of I-told-you-so's prepared.
I'm here to tell yas right now. There's NO difference between Mr. Gang-of-Fourteen leader and the guy he's running against!!!
Bye

I voted for Fred, but I will vote for McCain.
Ask yourself if Fred would want you wasting your vote just to stroke your own ego.
