That "On the Issues" page is completely unreliable and is laughable if you try to use it to determine a candidate's idealogy. They'll take some statement a candidate made a decade ago, something they've totally disavowed today, and use it to factor the candidate's "position" on a current issue. They'll also take B.S. a candidate said on a TV interview to cover their butts and factor it into the candidate's "record", even if the candidate has voted the exact opposite way every time a bill regarding theat issue came up. It claims the RINO former Governor of Illinois, George Ryan, the most outspoken "end the death penalty" advocate in the country has "No opinion on topic 8: Death Penalty", which is sort of like claiming Charlton Heston has no stance on the 2nd amendment. According to "on the issues", the avowedly pro-choice Arlen Specter has a "pro-life record" and is a "Moderate Libertarian Conservative" (whatever that means)
And for all the freepers who absolutely hate Lindsey Graham with a passion, here's what On The Issues says about him:
Lindsey Graham is a Hard-Core Conservative.
==================================================
Some other cute ones:
Al Franken is Moderate.
George W. Bush is a Hard-Core Conservative.
Al Gore is a Moderate Liberal Populist
Bob Barr is a Hard-Core Conservative.
(Like some freepers, On The Issues is apprently confusing the Bob Barr of a decade ago with the Bob Barr of today)
Rudy Giuliani is a Libertarian-Leaning Right Conservative.
