Tuesdays Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Baracks concerns and strongly support his detailed economic plan to grow the economy, create jobs, restore fairness, and expand opportunity.
Senator Hillary Clinton will be the headline prime-time speaker and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday night. Pay Equity pioneer Lilly Ledbetter will also address the Convention on Tuesday.
Other Tuesday speakers will include: Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana; Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts; Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas; Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona; Governor Joe Manchin of West Virginia; Governor Jim Doyle of Wisconsin; Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania; Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio; Governor David Paterson of New York; Governor Chet Culver of Iowa; Senator Bob Casey, Jr., of Pennsylvania; Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont; former Secretary of Energy and Transportation Federico Peña; House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer; House Democratic Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel; Representative Xavier Becerra (D-CA), Assistant to the Speaker of the House; and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chair Chris Van Hollen, who will use his time to showcase his top candidates for change.
Representatives Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Linda Sanchez (D-CA), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), Mike Honda (D-CA), California Controller John Chiang, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards, Change To Wins Anna Burger, and AFL-CIO President John Sweeney will also speak.
Wednesday, August 27 Securing Americas Future. Barack Obama offers a new, tough foreign policy that is neither Republican nor Democratic, but is a strong, smart American foreign policy to make our country more secure and advance our interests in the world. Wednesday nights Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Baracks vision of making America stronger and safer.

Obama will communicate the urgency of the moment, highlight the struggles Americans are facing and call on Americans to come together to change the course of our nation.
Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. will address the Convention on Thursday night.
Additional details of the program to precede Barack Obamas acceptance speech will be announced later this week.
Me too!
the Beast Tuesday and the perv Wednesday, then the One is Thursday (a.k.a. the Messiah)
Ultimately public Schools and schools of Journalism are where we begin to make inroads.
And it’s happening. Twenty years ago when Rush first started in syndication, I would never have imagined the tremendous grow of talk radio. And I never could have imagined FOX NEWS.
So things are improving.
Heck, twenty years ago the sycophant media would have gotten Obama easily elected. Today, the veneer wore thin and we were able to expose Obama for the America hating street agitating black liberationist socialist that he is.
I am not a grammar expert, but shouldn’t that have been “Barack and I are”.
I thought so, too ... ;)
Wonder if she made the tribute video.
Ted Kennedy is, and continues to be, a pompous, unrepentant dirt bag. May God have mercy on his soul.
Guys, it’s been fun. (You people are so funny)
But this girl is tired and going to bed. See what’s on TCM.
LOL
Yep, she REALLY said that. :-) NOT a parody.
Kennedy is repeating on fox..his to the moon analogy, the flag being on the moon, meeting the challenge, blah, blah, blah..
hey, Teddy, meeting the challenge of stopping terrorism just isn’t a good cause for ya?? A little more serious than when we landed on the moon I think.
You must be color blind. Your color is all out of whack.
"Sweetie" is a term a woman uses. A man would say "honey".
I have no idea. But it is interesting that it is appearing that Michelle "I hate whitey" nObama appears to be with child. Sort of like Jackie Kennedy was....hmmmm...coincedence?
I guess if it is just for nostalgia purposes they could always abort it if he is not elected.
Heard an interesting call - They said there was a group of people filling 45 gallon buckets and that they had ready-mix cement with them. They said police from the DNC (contingent?) are responding.<<<
Glad you are listening.
Did you find out what they planned for the buckets?
They set up a separate force for the DNC, they are working 12 hour days, so will be a tired bunch of Officers, soon.
LOL! I was thinking of Aunt Esther and “Sanford and Son” yesterday.
Wardrobe aside, I can't believe I am posting this...BUT...
Can't wait to hear what Bubba sez later...will he toe the line? Or provide controversy...hmmm...
WOW. Maybe.
I admit I didn’t watch the whole speech. What I did hear I’ve heard before.
I am always amazed at how goose bumply some people get when a liberal speaks about family and hard work. Don’t most of us love our families above all else and work hard?? Is a good husband and father so hard to come by for liberals??
Although the little girls were cute, I was not terribly impressed.
Oh—and what is with the dumb 70’s and 80’s songs like
“Celebration”??? Yeesh!!! Those old fogeys jiving to those tunes was embarrassing.
