Wait — if the lawsuit re The One's birth certificate sees more day light before Wednesday - she may be THE nominee.
What does it mean to release her delegates? Can’t these delegates still vote?
Denver mite not be there Wednesday...
IMHO, I wonder if the writer of this article really meant to say:
"DENVER Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, hoping to united the Democratic Party and cement her future in it, will gather her hard-won primary delegates Wednesday at a reception where she is expected to formally release them on Barack Obama???"
The ones that are already pledged have to vote for the candidate they are pledged to on the first ballot. I don’t know how it works if she releases them, I would think they could vote for whom ever they want. The super delegates can vote for whom ever they want even on the first ballot, I believe.
“...and cement her future in it...”
I think I speak for all here when I say that we would love nothing more than to see Hillary! in cement shoes. At the bottom of the Potomac. ;)
(Just kiddin’ Hil. You’re aces. Keep up the good work in the name of “party unity.” *SMIRK*)
Neville had expectations for Adolph also.
::::::::
Yes he did, like FDR had expectations for Stalin. They both learned their lessons.
Does she have to? He just disrespected her and didn’t even consider her for VP.
LOL!
I think you might be on to something!
how nice of her!
wonder what her attitude will be?
The initial CNN report included that she'd be releasing her delegates after the roll call vote.
mccain will probably offer hillary a job as VP
I have thought the same thing
Obama thinks he’s this close to being President. He’s not going to flush it down the tubes just like that.
That is a wild scenario lol!
ROFL! That's perfect!
Did they say she was going to release her delegates or her flying monkeys?
Wait...wait...Hillary! Can’t you get Rev. Wright to make just one more speech against America before then? Or for someone to talk about our Constitutional law and citizenship requirements for a presidential candidate, someone we can trust - like, hmmm, maybe Bill? You must have a plan! The Clinton’s never throw in the towel, particularly not because of a little rebel upstart. You are keeping something from us. </sarc>
I totally believe this story. I’ve been thinking that the stories about disunity are just meant to gain interest in the convention. She is going to put on a show of unity even if she doesn’t mean it because she wants the nomination in 2012.
