Fox news is not on the air to be a cheerleader for conservatives or Republicans. They are on the air to try and give both sides of an issue. It’s probably going to be as close to a real news organization as you will ever see on TV.
That is where Fox has failed. There was never a need to present 'both sides' of any issue via Fox News, because the left side of ANY issue has always been promoted, trumpeted and pushed by all of the OTHER networks, combined with a systematic arrogance and disdain for any viewpoint to the political right of Karl Marx.
All Fox News had to do was present the *conservative* side of any issue, trash the leftist point-of-view using nothing but the truth, and let the chips fall where they may.
That is why Fox News is at best, a 'middle of the road' program, still infected and tainted with the compulsory liberal/left perspective in an illusory quest for 'balance'.
Personally, I think that FR should have a cable News Channel, with real-time uploading of these threads 24 hours a day, with anchoring by our Founder Jim Robinson and guest hosting by selected Freepers like (for example) Pissant, Eternal Vigilance, Mr. Silverback, DiehardTheHunter, etc. (just to name a few)
