Jesus' genealogy is stated clearly in the Bible and demonstrates that he was a man of color... Matthew 1:2-17 sets out Jesus' lineage to King David and beyond, which... contains at least four Afro-Asiatic women: Rahab, Tamar, Ruth and Bathsheba... He was of mixed blood known as Afroasiatic. Like his parents, he was much like the darker Palestinian, Egyptian or Yemenite of today... The name Hussein, which is being used to demagogue [sic] Mr. Obama... does not actually have any evil connotation... Jesus was crucified because he was a liberal... These are liberal principals [sic], but it does not end there. Jesus was against the death penalty... This belief in the goodness and potential of all men is a liberal principal [sic]. Jesus is a peace maker and believed in and taught peace... Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King... were acting out liberal biblical principals in faith. I could go on and on from Jesus' rejection of strict enforcement of religious law to separation of church and state, but I think the point is made. Jesus is a liberal... Mr. Obama has already told us that he does not want our guns and will enforce the death penalty... Do not listen to the demagoguery of this vision-filled man.

Wow - that went to every Christian in my address book. That was very telling.
Their passion was for individual liberty. They believed that individual freedom, individual compassion, individual responsibility, and individual accountability would produce a society worthy of being that "light" and example of the benefits of liberty.
Contrast that with the failed socialist policies which today's American liberals advocate--policies that require coercive government force applied to individuals in a society in order to compel them to work so that elected and unelected bureaucrats and politicians can redistribute their earnings. The moral equivalent of that kind of "liberalism" is institutionalized slavery by the politically powerful.
They never point out that becoming politically powerful depends on their ability to hoodwink the less fortunate into voting them into the very power position that will enslave them if they work hard and achieve wealth.
All I ask from the black baby Jesus is, will you walk on the water? He doesn’t have to rise from the dead, He just has to walk on the water!! Then I will believe!
Al Sharpton was dark, liberal too. what’s your point?
“Jesus’ lineage to King David and beyond, which... contains at least four Afro-Asiatic women: Rahab, Tamar, Ruth and Bathsheba... He was of mixed blood known as Afroasiatic. Like his parents, he was much like the darker Palestinian, Egyptian or Yemenite of today... “
no , like his parents he was of Jewish blood and would look like Jews of today.
In fact King David was a redhead - a ginjy-
Wow. Somebody did a REALLY GOOD brainwashing job on this Conway chap.
“My Jesus is better than your Jesus!” (scoff!)
those who want to focus on Jesus being a man of Love fail to realize that the love of God includes righteousness, justice and holiness. They want to preach their version of his humility and obedience that led to the cross. They don’t like to think about this part:
“Therefore God has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name. that at the name of Jeus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
Christians worship Jesus as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Paul and the apostle John are in perfect harmony on this. “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war...and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:11-16
“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse.” Revelation 19:19-21
Without going into all the symbolism involved in these passages, this is the vision of Jesus, the true Messiah (Christ), that has inspired Christianity for over 2000 years. Jesus as He has been fully revealed in the New Testament writings is the consummate HERO— the WARRIOR KING—who rules with love and compassion but also with POWER and RIGHTEOUSNESS. He is the model for all heroes that are worthy of any admiration.
When I die, I’d like to go out like my uncle, asleep and peaceful, not screaming in fear like the other people in his car.
A. A fool.
I stole it from FReeper Joesixpack
To think they actually print this stuff as the truth.
Agreed, but we live in an age that all opinions are equal, even opinions of dingbats.
When a dingbat tries to pretend like a literate writer and doesn’t know the difference between “principal” and “principle” I tend to not give a fig about his opinion.
