Weapon store explodes in Tskhinvali (oopsie)

The store of arms and shells, which the Russians took away from Georgian military bases, exploded in Tskhinvali this morning. As it was reported, over 200 shells exploded today.
The Russian occupants were keeping the stolen armament on the territory of the Tskhinvali Auto Transport facilities. Russian NTV Channel reports one Russian soldier was injured as the result of the blast.

I’m waiting for the U.S. to send TOWs, LAWs, and newer anti-tank weapons ... a lot of accidents are due for those Russian tanks.

It happens a lot with the Russians - and the Soviets before them. Back when they were the Soviet Empire, they’d have ammo dump explosions about once every year or so.
Good to see they haven’t changed their training or safety regimens with regards to ammunition stores.

Russian officers killed in Chechnya attack
Two senior Russian officers have been killed when their armoured vehicle was hit by explosives in Russia's restive Chechnya, Interfax news agency has reported, two days after a gun attack in a nearby province.
Russian security officials have said they expect a rise in rebel attacks after Russia launched a military incursion into Georgia, an ex-Soviet republic neighbouring Chechnya, to crush its attempt to retake the breakaway region of South Ossetia.
