What Will the Democrats Do About Michigan and Florida Delegates At the Convention.
Just Say No Deal website ^ | August 23, 2008 | Princess Leah

In just a little less than 48 hours the 2008 Democratic National Convention will begin. Much has been said about how the Democrats have managed (or mismanaged) campaigns, the primaries, etc. One thing still remains unclear, however, and that is what is the official state of the Delegates for Michigan and Florida. Do they get to cast votes, if so, will Obama get votes in Michigan when his name was not on the ballot? Will those delegates who feel they were "used" respond according to the DNC rules or will the superdelegates have an unusual role in selecting their nominee in 2008? It is thought that the most interesting day of the Democratic Convention will be on Wednesday, August 27th, the day the roll call will be given for the delegate count. Some speculate Hillary voters will jump ship - others say it is a done deal for Mr. Obama. At any rate, it certainly promises to be of some entertainment for all who can stomach watching the proceedings.

If you haven't ever seen an old 'B' western movie, go check one out. A staple of the genre is a good ole barroom brawl. That is what I expect out of the convention. I have some extra butter for the popcorn if you need any.

The DNC already decided this. The delegates all get to vote, but their votes will only count as a half.

They had a full two day lovefest a few months ago to decide this. Harold Ickles made an ass of himself for Hillary. (I think he was drunk) which really isn't that hard to do if your are Harold Ickles

A trump card has been played — a lawsuit regarding Obama’s birthplace and citizenship status has been filed by a pro-Hillary attorney of long Democrat standing. Get out the popcorn.

They’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Dean has created a serious problem for the DNC they’ll need to fix before the next presidential primary.

“Some speculate Hillary voters will jump ship ...”

I too think they’ll jump ship. And Hillary knows it, which explains her “look” this week.

Whatever the rats do it will not be honest. They do not have a honest bone in their body.

Attention McCain Campaign...

Denver is an enormous opportunity for special ops. The situation with the Clintons, with Florida and Michigan, with Obama's inexperience, presents a unique opportunity for the GOP, through covert action, fakery, internet hoaxes, phony press releases, and manipulation, to throw this convention into total disarray.

Think about it. A chaotic convention would be played up big by the media. And we could say "If Obama cannot even run his own convention, how on earth could be run this nation?"

I'd watch it too, but I have way too weak a stomach to watch a liberal infomercial. If something really fun happens, let us know. If it's really worthy, let me know of a youtube link.

For that to be really accurate, remember the scene at the end of Blazing Saddles when the cowboys invade the Broadway show with all the gay dancers?

I mean, this IS the DNC Convention we’re talking about here.
