He needs someone who brings votes to the table, or he is going to lose.

That someone is Obama. He is pissing off his supposed voters left and right. At least 30% of PUMAs will vote McCain and another 30% will stay home.

As has been said repeatedly here, McCain is the luckiest man on the planet.

First of all if I am lying state where I lied. Is it what I said about a special investigation or the stonewalling of requested information? I submit both are verifiable by reading the paper and listening to the news up here. You missed my point about the paper. It is a kalifornia owned paper which has tried to defend Sarah no matter what until it was undeniable. Why does a left wing paper love a conservative republican unless she isn’t? Actually the polls give her a 80% favorable rating not 90%. And yes I no longer support her though once I did and even campaigned for her. My ox gored, I’m doing great! I’ll even get my $1200 vote for me check next month. You see I don’t look to a beneficent government and governor for my well being, I work. And no I have no connection to the oil industry other than owning some of their stock.

"Every state capital has it (I should know, I live in Columbus), but you would know Alaska better than I, so I believe it. "

Your so right. I grew up in Louisiana so I know about corruption. Alaska may be a young state but it has learned fast.

When are we going to stand for true conservative (e.g., small government, low taxes, free market) values?

Did you read the article? She's pro-life, pro-gun (an NRA Life member); and pro-drilling. She has a more consistently conservative record than Romney; and more time in office than Obama. Nobody is ever 'perfect' (even Reagan had a flaw or two) but over all, Palin is pretty darn close.

I grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Ohio. Looks like both of us have seen the ultimate in state-level corruption.

If you are hinting at Santorum, he might help elsewhere, but hurt here...he burned alot of bridges.

I like him, but the media burned him so badly that there's no way he could help.

For once, it wasnt’t he media. He did it himself. He fell into line w/Bush and supported Spector (who stabbed both in the back as a ‘thank you’) when Spector was in danger of loosing his ‘Senator for Life’ seat to upstart (and true conservative Pat Toomey.) Sad part, if L’il Ricky had support Toomey, and Spector had lost out in the primary then possibly today PA could have two, conservative Senators (and the Senior Senator would have made a great VP for McCain) instead of Mr. Magic Bullet and the ‘Empty Suit’ Bobby Casey, Jr., in Washington.

I think Thompson could chew up Biden and spit him out. But he didn’t make it.

Then, of course, there is this factor.

Some nasty people may actually exploit this alleged resemblance and make her a laughing stock.

How About BECKY SKILLMAN, Lt. Gov Of Indiana? She's considered one of the best administrators in the Country, is a serious Policy Wonk, and doesn't look bad on TV, either!

Palin has a college degree in broadcast communications. The interviews I have seen show a confident, articulate speaker who can think on her feet.

Biden may be a gifted orator, but he’s also a loose cannon with no filter between brain and tongue. I suspect a debate between them would be a wash at worst.

As good as Mitt Romney is as a vice-presidential choice, Palin is even better.

Disagree with that. Palin is a fine looking woman but she does not have near the ability as a debater, or know as much about the economy and how to fix it as Romney. Also, she supported a wind-fall profit tax on American oil companies....not a good sign.

That ugly Betty stuff is disgusting. Not to mention the fact that she keeps coming on to talk shows all dolled up and somebody oughta tell her

Get a clue! It ain’t workin!

Tonight I go through the Jack in the Box drive through. There are three girls??? working in there and I kid you not, the skinniest one was about 5’2” and was pushin 200 pounds easy.
I almost hurled, even before I ate the food...

We’re becoming a nation of texting, junk food eating, whining slobs.
People who will have a nervous breakdown if the onions on their Big Mac aren’t fried right.

Jeez....

Wowie...thanks for signing up less than a month ago to share your opinion of women who wear glasses...I'll check back to see your take on birthmarks and sensible shoes.

You think I was making a statement about women who wear glasses??? Nothing I said would indicate that. You're seeing what YOU want to see in it. If they can put a caricature of the “messiah” on the cover of Mad magazine. How come Palin is beyond a little skewing? Although I didn't do that. I just pointed out how others would.

“Uhh No.” What does that even refer to? Thanks for the “welcome”. Even though I know the spirit in which it was given. I guess I must walk on egg shells so as not to push anyone's buttons. I'm not so sure I'll play that game. After all, there's no upside to being to say only what is approved by what amounts to self appointed censors.
