DENVER, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean issued the following statement on the selection of Senator Joe Biden as Barack Obama's running mate:
"Senator Obama has made an outstanding selection in Joe Biden. Joe Biden is a strong leader, fierce advocate, and devoted family man with values rooted in the best of what America stands for. He will be a strong partner with Barack Obama in bringing the change America wants and needs.
"Delegates here in Denver are already buzzing with strong enthusiasm for the Obama-Biden ticket.
"Senator Obama's selection shows that unlike the Bush-McCain way of doing politics, Obama is not afraid to have strong people around him helping to lead our great country.
"Together they will serve America well over the next eight years, and our Party is ready to rally behind them and put them on the path to the White House starting right here in Denver."
What the heck does Joe Biden add to the ticket?
Delaware? New Jersey?.....Eastern Pennsylvania?
Biden is a 2 or 3 times failed Democrat primary “also-ran”!
Though is Biden’s barely “noticiable-ran”, did he ever get more then 1% anywhere this last time?
The Democrat “wheeler-dealers” must have told Obama, ‘you take one of our old war horse to give your take some maturity or the super-delgates will look elsewhere!’
But Biden adding anything other then ill-timed gaffes will be a miracle! Where is his national cosntitutiency? I imagine the Hillary-ites are besides themselves with rage!
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Dean pretends that Obama bin Biden isn’t going to take the fall for Hillary during the Dems’ convention.
Frankly, I’m not so sure that the stalking horse has even seen the glue factory yet, though it should have been obvious long before now.
Ahhhhhhhh,we don't know what the Clinton's have planned for the convention do we?
We do know there is big wide screen presentation of the Hillary
Chelsea takes the stage to introduce her Mom
Bill Clinton takes the stage and you think he will praise Obama?
Hillary takes the stage and praises Obama?
All of this for Obama?
Hillary going to get her name placed in nomination at the convention?
This all sounds over the top for a candidate that did not win the nomination in June.
