Joe Biden On Barack Obama
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDVUPqoowf8
Obama wants “change” in Washington and he picks this Beltway doofus? Gotta love it?
"John McCain is not only clean and articulate, but he doesn't have an accent like those guys in the 7/11s."
YIKES, I just had a "Village People" visual
Not to mention TWO LAWYERS--just what we need. /s
BEST COMMENT OF THE DAY!!!..lol
Fox is already running this ad. A Repub and a DNC committee chair were on and this choice is already being picked apart on Fox. Someone from Fox also said the political blogs are upset with the choice.
There’s been NO grace period for this choice whatsoever. No opportunity for the pundits to come out of the woodwork and praise the wisdom of Obama’s selection. NONE. This is being joked about and ridiculed right out of the gate.
My wife said immediately that Ted Kennedy was behind this pick. Obama loves the Kennedys, has Caroline as one of the vetters. I agree with her. I’d bet Kennedy’s hands are all over this one.
How can you run on “Change we can count on” when your pick for VP is an old-school beltway Democrat politico whit baggage galore? This is fantastic!
Good on McCain for being so out front with this. Is suspect they had a commercial ready to go for each possibility.
nObama and Joe. Perfectly unelectable!
Palin also:
1. Draws women's vote (including some Hillary supporters)
2. Draws the pro-life vote
3. Adds some youth vote
4. Draws the conservative vote
5. Draws the Drill Here Drill Now Vote (especially emphasizing her state's residents desire to open ANWR)
6. Brings experience in working with budgets as Governor of Alaska
I think so too. I’m originally a Fred supporter but Fred was too much a gentlement for the fight that is coming. McCain will be a Rottweiler. We need that now like never before. I’m still not crazy about McCain due to his stand on amnesty but we will have more to worry about than amnesty if Obama wins.
The Obama campaign has now gone from train wreck to a disaster more like the space shuttle crashing into the Empire State building and dislodging King Kong who then falls on a bus full of orphans.
Seriously, the choice of Biden was stupid, and it epitomizes why Obama is a total lightweight. Anyone who puts Biden on the ticket because he thinks the guy has gravitas ought to be disqualified from ever holding a county commission position, let alone the presidency. The only thing Biden has ever accomplished is to win an election in Delaware in 1972 by promising to be a fresh young face with new ideas. By the time the voters figured out we was just another party hack with no new ideas, and not even enough brain capacity to write a speech without plagiarizing, he was entrenched and people kept re-electing him because of his seniority.
Now Obama, another empty suit, picks Biden as a senior “statesman” who will add gravitas to his own phony “new ideas” campaign. That pretty much says it all for the Democrats. We're supposed to vote for the young ones because they're fresh new faces, while simultaneously voting for the old ones because they're supposedly so knowledgeable. In the meantime, we're supposed to vote for the black ones because they're black, the females because they're female, and so forth. It's reached a point where it's becoming contradictory, such as when ‘Rat primary voters didn't know whether they should vote for the woman or the black (race card ended up trumping gender card). And now Obama has to pick a guy who was first elected when eight-track tapes were the hot new medium to add experience to his campaign supposedly based on change.
Anyone else think the timing of the Obama campaigns announcement of Biden is very strange? They dumped it on the weekend ( the “lets bury this news” time slot) when most attention will be on the Olympics wrap up. Weird.
So they gonna man up and put this on the air?
Hopefully this was part of the big McCain advertising buy for the Olympics Closing Ceremonies.
Was it shown as a commercial, or as part of the news reporting?
Team McCain’s extraordinarily timely response to the selection of Plugs may be a subliminal message for where McCain is going with his VP selection. Hopping so quickly on the negative statements Plugs made about The One, it might be somewhat difficult for McCain to turn around and pick Romney - who had some equally unkind things to say about McCain.
Thoughts????
Ouch! That’s gonna leave a mark. LOL
Excellent ad!
The look on Lord Hussein’s face is priceless!
