I now look forward to the convention and the start of the next phase of OPERATION CHAOS!!!! I did not believe all of the reports telling us about Bambi dissin’ the Beast. But they were TRUE. While it would be nice if most voters were swayed by experience, logic, and excellent debating skills - that clearly isn’t the case.

There is an emotional element, and image is important.

The “image” of a young conservative, pro-life, pro energy independent woman on the ticket?
That’s a winner.

If voters were concerned about experience, then Hillary and Obama woudn’t have gotten so far.

Romney is awful. If you think Biden is going to have to “unsay” some things he said in the past and attempt to cover up his positions, Romney is probably going to have to burn down all the newspaper archives in the country.

I agree that Mitt would be a fine match (after Fred dropped out, he was my guy - won me over in the debates) but I like bold moves.

All that being said, I am rather shocked Obama picked Biden. How stupid is this guy? Who isn’t going to think Obama Bin Biden? Biden is a total loose cannon, gloms onto cameras more than Chuckie Schumer (and that’s saying a lot). Outrageous. I know several Dems who said if he didn’t pick Hillary they were voting 3rd party or leaving that vote blank. This is beyond hysterical. It’s like a gift from God.

Last night, I watched a documentary about The Weather Underground. I think it's the same one that the video at the top of FR is from. I had no idea about any of their activities. When Barak's good friend's baby mama turned herself in in 1980, she read this long statement about how the revolution isn't over and they will continue to fight, "I'm an angry white broad", and blah blah blah... Anyway, if you guys have the opportunity to watch it, do it! It was just called, "The Weather Underground" on NetFlix.
