Politics: Barack Obama mocks John McCain for not knowing the number of his residences. Does that include the Hanoi Hilton? At least McCain's real estate broker is not a felon he did favors for.

"I wish I could have had the luxury, like you, of growing up and living and spending my entire life in a nice place like the first district of Arizona, but I was doing other things. As a matter of fact, when I think about it now, the place I lived longest in my life was Hanoi."
Considering his own history, it's an unseemly stretch for the Hawaii-born Obama to exploit McCain's remark that he wasn't sure how many homes he and his wife owned through various entities.
Obama tried to paint McCain, who should have answered "fewer than John Kerry," as an out-of-touch real estate mogul having a senior moment. Obama humbly said: "If you're like me, and you've got one house, or you are like the millions of people who are struggling right now to keep up with their mortgage so they don't lose their home, you might have a different perspective."
Obama, who lives in a $1.65 million home where he worries about the price of arugula, feels your pain.
And as McCain noted in a response ad, most Americans don't have a Tony Rezko in their life to help them buy the home of their dreams. They are not like Obama at all.

I don’t see why anyone would care how many homes McCain has. I’d rather know why so many people in obama’s family live in hellish poverty. Rush brought that up today and I agree.

And that is about all this charlatan fraud can do. He certainly cannot talk about his accomplishments, he cannot talk about his friends, he cannot talk about his childhood, he cannot talk about his church and its pastor, he cannot talk about national defense, he cannot talk about lowering taxes, he cannot talk about reduced government, he cannot talk about his racism, he cannot talk his hatred for the miltary and our defense, he cannot talk about trillions in planned spending increases.....
So he must just name-call McCain....

The whole crowd surrounding her seems rather devoid of spiritual value.
Now is the time for some Republicans to bind up the man's wounds, prepare a small trust to make sure he has a roof over his head and food in his belly.
Gospel of Luke, chapter 10 verses 25–37 should be an adequate source of guidance in the matter.
The priests and the lawyers may find it acceptable to just pass by this man at the side of the road, but what about the "rascally Republicans"? Obviously we have no choice.

We should take up a collection and send some money to George Obama! He makes 20$ a year I think - so we could really make his day with a few bucks.
Maybe a few hundred bucks ~ give him a leg up ~ maybe he can help other people. No doubt he knows more about circumstances on the ground than any of us.
I think you are right and it is my worst fear as that is probably the only combination that will help Obama.
And of course, Hillary and Bill will eat Obama alive if he actually wins the election.
IMO Hillary's been awfully conciliatory towards Obama in the last few weeks, and IMO it has nothing to do with the VP slot. I'm of the opinion that an under-the-table deal has been struck, and it has to do with the delegates and superdelegates. If Hillary's a good little girl and doesn't attempt to steal the nomination from Obama at the convention, someone will make all her campaign debts magically disappear. If she's a good little girl.
My guess is that Hillary is being paid bribed into compliancy. Watch and see if any mention is made of her campaign debt, in the months after the convention.
