Durham, N.C. The woman at the center of the 2006 scandal that rocked Duke University, Durham and the lives of the three lacrosse players she accused of raping her is coming out with a book.
Crystal Gail Mangum worked as an exotic dancer in March 2006, when she performed at a party hosted by several Duke lacrosse players.
It was at that party, Mangum alleged, that three white members of the team trapped her inside a bathroom and raped and sexually assaulted her. David Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann were later indicted on the allegations.
The claims also launched a local and national debate about race, politics, ethics and privilege.
Then-District Attorney Mike Nifong dismissed rape charges against the men in December 2006 after Mangum said she was not certain a rape occurred.
North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper dismissed the remaining charges of sexual assault and kidnapping in April 2007 and declared the former players innocent.

The book will be very popular among man-haters and racists.
I think I read that she graduated from North Carolina Central University (after the case was thrown out).
Does the nappy headed ho name the multiple dudes whose sperm DNA was STILL present in her filthy panties?
Lips and hips for hire! Bring me your heat and I’ll put out the fire!
Hooker, fabricator, liar, and mentally ill book writer. What’s next for Crystal Gail Mangum? Well, she’s more than qualified to run for Congress. What a future she could have in the Democrat party.

It helps if you are able to read and write before you attempt to write a book.
Easy. She will not repeat any charges against any individual, describe her "ordeal" only in the most general terms in Chapter 3.
Outline
Chapter 1: Her early life, family, school, hopes and disappointments.
Chapter 2: Her gradual slide into drugs, stripping, etc.
Chapter 3: Her "ordeal". Don't expect any specifics. Not one name, not even Duke or the word "lacross".
Chapter 4: The initial investigation, her story rejected by the police.
Chapter 5: Mike Nyfong, man of vision, takes up her cause.
Chapter 6: The media begin to notice. She and her case become a case celeb.
Chapter 7: The Empire Strikes Back. The dark forces of the internet and vast right wing noise machine conspire to crush her and preserve white privilege.
Chapters 8-11: More of the same. Mary Mapesque whining and "explanations. Yada yada yada
Chapter 12: The Aftermath. How this ordeal has ruined her life, causing her to relapse into drugs and alcohol, just when she was turning her life around.
Chapter 13: The future. Plans to sue ... someone. Struggling to recover from the drug and alcohol adiction caused by the stress of her "ordeal". Will fight to reveal the truth. Yada yada yada.
It's an easy boilerplate, it actually writes itself. By keeping it general, the ghost writer can save dough on fact checkers, investigators and researchers. (This will be a pretty fact free effort. Call it a guess.)
The most difficult part writing this book will be keeping the subject/author sober enough to provide even the most sketchy details.
Do you think she will sell more books than Pelosi.
Why don’t the lacrosse players sue her, and get her advance and royalties?
