I would bet even money that Barry Soetoro is waiting for Rush to go off the air before announcing his veep slug ... so he has a fact free environment over the weekend into which his handlers (the Axelrod projection brigade) can spew their ‘fantasies for America’. This weekend will be filled with a pile of projection invitations upon which to build a fantasy of ‘the ideal partnership for America, for leadership’.

Obama will make sure the stock markets are closed, Rush is off the air and probably Sean Hannity is off the air, before he makes his announcement.
He may do it by Email later today or tomorrow.
That should keep the markets from dipping.

If Obama was as smart as he is supposed to be, he would ask the convention to nominate the VP candidate. Presumably, this would be Hillary. No vetting, no responsibility and he can still give big speeches while not making big decisions.
