Grand jury hands down three new (FLDS) sect indictments

A Schleicher County grand jury today handed down three new felony indictments in the state's polygamist sect investigation, a court clerk said.

Schleicher County District Clerk Peggy Williams said the indictments involve three individuals. It's unclear whether those individuals are new defendants or suspects already charged in the probe.

The identities of those individuals were not immediately available. Neither were the actual charges listed in the indictments.

The grand jury last month indicted six members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Court hearings for those individuals is scheduled for Sept. 8, authorities said.

The grand jury plans to reconvene on Sept. 23, Williams said.

Sect spokesman Willie Jessop was one of six witnesses subpoenaed today. When asked about his testimony, Jessop told reporters: "We certainly believe there is a God. We believe he will judge all. Those who judge will be judged themselves."

In related action today, a case involving Lloyd Barlow, a physician at the sect's YFZ compound near Eldorado, was transferred to the Schleicher County court system. He is facing three charges of failing to report child abuse, a misdemeanor. He was among the six members of FLDS indicted last month.

Which led to the laymen’s analogy, “If a tree falls in the forest.....”

Add in probabilities with one degree less freedom and there you have it : )

“That is precisely what the Copenhagen convention determined”

I thought that what they theorized was that the act of observation caused the theoretical existence of all the possible multiple states (in this case just 2), to go away leaving just the one ‘state’ to exist in the universe of the observer.

Or, am I really saying the same thing?

(by the way, I peeked into the quantum FLDS box, and some of those cats are guilty as h*ll)

: )

Hmm, probably the same thing : ) But Einstein and Schrodinger did not like the outcome, to say the least. That is why Schrodinger came up with the cat in the box mind experiment to illustrate how ludicrous the Copenhagen Convention was.

So, basically, Einstein and Schrodinger thought the CC was wrong, the CC thought E and S were wrong, and none of them ever had any proof they were right.

No box, No cat, No cesium atoms, No poison.... No proof.

And, even if they conducted the experiment, they could never verify the results.

(what I want to know, is can I get a grant to conduct the same type of ‘experiments’?)

: )

BTW, the experiment could be conducted, but the only one who could ‘know’ the outcome without observing, without opening the box...... would be (fill in the blank).

Well they did get proof and Einstein admitted he was wrong, but he didn't like it. I don't know about Schrodinger though : )

The cat in the box was more to illustrate who or what qualified as an observer. With entanglement and Bells theorem the theory is still out : ) Is a Geiger Counter an observer? The relay in the Geiger Counter? If there is no fallen tree did the tree fall in the woods?

No one likes having the observer in the equation.

“Well they did get proof “

How so?

“No one likes having the observer in the equation.”

Especially those who are violating state laws against sex with minors.

: )

(See, QM and FLDS are very similar)

So, some of the most brilliant minds in the world cannot come to an agreement on which is the ‘proper’ theory, but...

We did?

The double slit experiment was very nice.

Touche : ) I must be off my game.

Well it is a little easier after almost a hundred years of research and testing behind us : )

“All we ‘see’ is photons.”

Are all photons of the same frequency?

Geez do I need a sarcasm tag after all of my posts? Do you see 'your' God rolling dice?

Of course not : )

I have a question for you. As the frequency of the oscillations in the EM field increase what is the result? In other words what do you get at higher frequencies?

“Geez do I need a sarcasm tag after all of my posts?”

Nah, I guess not. I concede it was sarcasm.

You remember me talking about you mixing tenses, and stuff?

Well, you are at it again.

Dice.... are loaded.

Die.... it is loaded.

It’s not a big deal, but I just think you should be aware that you do it. I’d expect the same from you, if it was me doing it.

A real buzz, if you get high enough.

What if I told you that we get particles?

Not sure what you are asking, or where you are going with this.

What medium?

Does this have anything to do with the Bose Condensate, superconductors, and experimental anti-gravity?

Since I am likely way off, why don’t you just tell me.
I like to learn.
