And you know what? You're absolutely right. I'm an open border Mongolian who converted to Judaism in order to undermine America's sovereignty through the evils of free trade.

ROFLOL! That is one of the funniest comebacks I have read in a long time -- way to go!

Funny, how about the hypocrisy conservatives hold dear, when they rant and rave about celebrities, and leftist wealth, but when it comes to their favorite political celebrities, hey, it's cool, we like it! This is who we want to represent us!!

What you mean "We," Kemosabe?

Are you even following the debate? McCain has nothing against wealth, nor do I...it's Obama who's the hypocrite.

The nice thing about money is that prudent money-making can solve a lot of problems. Like being able to fill up a gas tank.

There was a show on PBS a few years ago about a farmer’s family struggling to get by. While I was watching, I could see how they were spending dozens of hours of precious time and hundreds of dollars they didn’t have, simply because they didn’t have the money to invest in capital improvements — like struggling with the wash because they couldn’t get their machine fixed.

I thought, if I knew those people I’d just spend $300 and buy them a washing machine, it would last them 10 years and save her all the trouble of washing the clothes and the repair bills they kept getting trying to fix it.

But that’s because I have $300 sitting around. If you don’t have the money sitting around to solve those problems, it costs you a lot more in the longer run.

The big-government types “solve” the problem by using the money of government NOT to set people with the capital they would need, but to feed their addiction to the lack of money.

I’d much rather my next President own several homes, than be like Clinton and own NO homes because the government has provided homes for them their entire lives.

Of course, democrats hate that a woman could actually succeed in business and make a name for herself and be able to afford her own homes and not be dependent on the government to protect her from her husband.

But I would imagine the rest of us are saner.

Oh Lordy...America is in big trouble.

Washing machines? 300 bucks? Lord Gawd Billy Bob. We're screwed!

But of course? Not? Never liked it. But if I did, I’d buy it. That’s what money does for you.

Just like money allows me to take a 3000-mile driving vacation with my family, while others are “struggling” to fill their tanks.

Of course,, I have a Prius. So my 3000-mile trip won’t cost me that much, and I’ve saved so much money on my gas so far that it’s really not a problem — plus, I have money.

I have money because I do things like buy a car that does the job I need to do without costing me twice as much to operate, by staying in the Country Inn instead of the Marriot, by buying season passes to all the theme parks instead of scraping by with a day here and a day there that ends up costing more and gives you less.

Nowadays, you’d need a bit more than $300 to get a really good washing machine. The show was a few years ago. On the other hand, I got a really good refrigerator at almost half price because I didn’t mind buying one off the floor that had been returned and dented.

I know a lot of people struggling to get by that wouldn’t think of buying something on clearance, or cutting their own hair. Meanwhile, my wife is excited that she found a thrift store here in Canada. And at Cedar Point, she hit another thrift store to pick up a nice polo for my son because we are going to a dinner theatre and she forgot to pack one.

A typical person struggling to get by would go without, or pay list price at a nice store. Which is one reason they struggle.

Of course, you can also simply marry a pretty woman with money — something that is easier if you are good-looking and have served your country admirably as a fighter pilot.

I find your posts so invigorating

I think I will ask my driver to go fill the tanks on my cars.

Oh, my neighbor has a Harley for sale. it would look good next to my other one.

But alas. i have to go now, my lawyer was talking to my real estate agent, and it seems there is a cute Little 3/2 home on the market down the street from my other rental, and she says it would be a good investment. my wife agrees. Toodles.

I just cannot seem to get a grip on my investments in this economy.....

.May have to hire a few more illegals to mow my several lawns.

That was my point. I DON’T have a problem with it. Why should I care what you HAVE? You didn’t get it by taking it from me. The American way.

“Bull sheet. The party groupies come unglued when if comes to the leftist wealth.”

Good, then. I’ve never been called a groupie and I guess I’m not one now. Because I don’t care what either of them HAS, unless they got it from me.

What the hell are you talking about? The only time I see conservatives having a problem with "leftist wealth" is when those same leftists, whether in politics or entertainment, preach about how "evil" rich people are, when they themselves are filthy rich. I don't give a crap how many homes McCain or Obama have, as long as they don't preach about the evils of wealth while being wealthy themselves. This is what Obama has done. He's wealthy, but points the finger at other wealthy people as if they don't deserve their wealth while he somehow does. Nice to know that you're in favor of leftist wealth hypocrisy though.

And Obama says McCAIN doesn't know what he's up against!

I'd have the advisor say it sounds like Obama's got another run in his pantyhose.

the stupid dems were wearing 7 houses hats that also said “elitist”.

They’re so dumb they don’t even understand what elitist means.

It is all about condescending arrogance.

That is why a guy can have many houses, lose track of the count, and still not be an elitist.
The same guy can still relate to “average folk” because he’s not a stuck up prig.

Insulting pennsylvanians about religion and guns - that’s what makes an elitist even if you only own one house.
