Undecided voters really not undecided, new study suggests [Racist Alert]

...He said some researchers in the United States are already using automatic association tests to determine why undecided voters seem to be flocking to Republican presidential nominee John McCain, rather than Democrat Barack Obama. The results could prove controversial.

While there is no data as yet to prove it, Gawronski said there is anecdotal evidence that many Americans are uncomfortable with the idea of an African-American president.

And in past automatic association tests, he said even people who consciously express "strong egalitarian convictions" have sometimes betrayed unconscious bias against African-Americans.

why undecided voters seem to be flocking to Republican presidential nominee John McCain,

They should be less concerned with this than some of their own "committed" supporters and the Bradly effect.

Let me get this straight.

It's ok for 95% of blacks to vote for Obama,,,,but if a majority of whites vote for McCain, it's because of racist thinking?

I get it now.

to determine why undecided voters seem to be flocking to Republican presidential nominee John McCain, rather than Democrat Barack Obama.

Let's see would it be because his policies suck. Nah, that couldn't be it. Could it be that he hates what America is and wants to change it to a socialist country, Nah, that's not it. Oh well it must be that they are racist. So be it!

OK...so what they are saying is that, as Americans, we don’t have the right to decide whether or not we want an African-American for President? Since when did we loose that right? And since when does voting for whoever we want make us racists?

Still, the last Republican to run for Governor in Ohio and the last Republican to run for Senate in Maryland can tell you, first hand, and up front, there are about 20% of Democrats who will not vote for a black man for any office.

That really cuts down on the crossover vote usually needed for a Republican to win in Maryland, and frequently in Ohio.

The Democrat big dogs know this yet they are encouraging Obama to go ahead and run. They know he'll lose, and by unexpected margins too.

So, why do they do it? Well, it has something to do with maintaining their position in the Senate, and maybe avoiding a loss in the House. African American voters must not under any circumstances be allowed to crossover to vote for their economic, social or moral self-interests.

Obama is just a way of putting "other" Democrats into office.

Once the campaign is over, he'll be tossed like trash.

What the hell is an “automatic association test”? ...sounds like a “computer model”.

How about this? How about the fact that Americans are getting to KNOW Obummer and don’t much like communists and racists?

The race card ain’t gonna work, you morons!

I would suggest that the issue isn't with an African-American President but with this African-American as President. I've always maintained that the first woman and the first minority President will be Republican. Women and minorities who rise in the Democrat ranks will be seen (and generally seen correctly) as too radical.

This is the same type of talk we heard about Hillary Clinton, regarding whether we’re ready for a woman president. And many of us are ready for a woman president, just not that woman. Same thing with Obama; any opposition assumes it must be due to his race. According to them, there’s just no reason to oppose him otherwise. They can’t comprehend that critical masses of Americans think he’s too liberal.
