She may very well. I know someone who murdered one of his children and he got away with it. Charmed and lied through his teeth the narcissistic sociopath did. He came up against a small town police department (and this was decades before child killing was common place) and also got the very much in shock child's mother to back up his claim that it was indeed an accident. He got away with it. I dug up what little investigative records were left decades after this happened and found out that the sociopath had taken life insurance policies out on his entire immediate family weeks before the "accident".

i don’t think the no body = no crime is true in this day and age. correct me if i am wrong but i believe that there are people serving time for murder even though there was never a body found. if you have enough evidence other than a body i good prosecutor will have you found guilty.
