I used to work with a girl who told me when she was in college, they had to set up some kind of exibit in NYC. The Union was supposed to do the heavy lifting and unloading of the trucks and equipment, et cetera. The union was late, and they had to get things moving so they started unloading the trucks and were about halfway done when the union workers showed up. They pitched a fit and said if the stuff wasn’t loaded back up, they wouldn’t finish uploading or pack it up. The person in charge said fine, they loaded the stuff back up, and then the union stepped in and re-unloaded the stuff. Unions suck rocks.
Yeah... I remember how my union ‘brothers’ could turn on you so fast it’d make your head spin if you didn’t want to ‘support’ any of their causes... like voting for Clinton/Gore in the ‘92 elections...
just wow.
