In all actuality its the story line of his entire life, everything from college to law school to senate being hand fed to him.
Its all he knows.
I guess you could say its not his fault but this sorry country's for doing this to him.

Obama is all fluff and no stuff.
As they say in Texas, “All hat and no cattle”

You said:
When the world gets some distance from “Bush Derangement Syndrome,” it’s going to realize what a good leader he has been.
I agree with this statement!

The more you use a teleprompter, the less you are able to live without it.

He is unable to do more than read from a teleprompter and yet the MSM keep saying how great he is.I like this tee shirt on CafePress.

Hes a great prompter reader but thats about it.Which makes him as qualified for the Presidency of the United States as Dan Rather, wouldn't it?

I am surprised that an individual with Obamas training (Ivy league Liberal Arts (Political Science) and Law degrees) is not a better extemporaneous public speaker. I mean I would have thought he would have debated in High School and college given his chosen major. He should have had a bunch of rhetoric classes as well.Indeed. I am of the opinion, at present, that *I* am a better extemporaneous public speaker than the *good* Senator, and I have only a high school diploma...

You would think that a trained trial lawyer could speak in public without a script...but somehow Obama cant...its odd. While he may have a law degree, and be a member of the bar, I don't think he's ever practiced law, and certainly don't believe he's ever argued a case in court. It shows...

"For such a fine speaker, it's really quite remarkable that he's had issues." It would be surprising except he is simply not an intelligent guy. Period.

Bush is very grounded in his own persona. He believes that he was voted into office to work for the American people. He is humble in his role. And he gives all praise to God, not himself. From my understanding he pays very little attention to the talking heads and he doesn’t care if the Democrats screech and rail about him. He knows he is the president of the most powerful nation in the world. And having risen to Oval Office, the noise really doesn’t matter.

That’s exactly how I believe he probably feels and acts regarding those with BDS-I just get mad for him :) As you say, he knows who he is and what he needs to do, he probably cares less than I do about the midgets snapping at his ankles.

I heard some pollster, his name escapes me, on FOX News this morning. He called Obama a great orator.Close but no cigar.
Obama is The Great Enunciator.

Have Zerobama's HLS transcripts been released? Apart from his having apparently met the minimum reqs for working after graduation as a lecturer --
not a professor! -- in Con Law, does anyone know exactly what subjects he studied? (English in any form evidently wasn't one of them, because although his speaking voice is easy on the ears, his syntax and grammar are clearly not those of an educated man.)
As for debating and rhetoric, whatchoo sayin'? Being an affirmative-action trophy means never having to do any real work. The quid-pro-quo bargain's already been struck: the institution gets Jackson-Sharpton points, and the trophy gets a free ride.... right up until the TelePrompTer conks out.
Last, he apparently let his bar membership lapse back in 2002 or thereabouts, but was of counsel to his firm for two years afterward. Neat trick, eh? Not that the Illinois State Bar Assn. would care.
