LYNCHBURG, Va. — Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) personally went on the attack Wednesday on a best-selling new book that falsely describes him as a closet Muslim.
Talking about "The Obama Nation," Obama said author Jerome Corsi was just making "stuff up."
“But it gets a lot of play on Fox News,” he said to loud boos.
The news network has interviewed Corsi.
Obama said GOP attackers have "been very good at campaigning,” and he added that they'd try to make him out to be scary and risky.
“Now I must say: I don’t find myself particularly scary or particularly risky," he said.
It's not like he doesn't have an open invitation over there. I know that O'Reilly has been clamoring for him to show up on "The Factor" (yeah, yeah, I know, most FReepers can't stand B O'R, but he DOES bring in the ratings on FNC).
Still, we need to cross our fingers and hope the Obamination doesn't self-destruct over the next 7 or 8 days, however. I won't believe he's in the seat until I see his "I have a scheme" speech at Invesco next week. Then, of course, I expect all he!! to break loose on him.

They are the words of Kenneth Vogel, the author of the post on Politico on which this thread is based. Scroll back up to the top and read the first sentence of the Politico article.
I’m just commenting that the article starts off with a factually incorrect assertion by an author purporting to convey the contents of Corsi’s book.
Also, I’ve been baptized in a church and I don’t know how I would go about proving it. I accept that Obama was baptized at Trinity.

Not really. People are seeing their gas and food prices rising. And Russia getting pissed off after Kosovo's independence. And Poland getting a few batteries of Patriot missiles or PAC-3s. Probably on a C-5 Galaxy right now. And Russia doesn't like that. There is dangerous chit going on and people are paying attention.
