Excellent point!!
But we never heard what Putin saw when he looked back into Bush's eyes.
j/k
Why would they be? As always, Russia is only reserving the right to kill Eastern Europeans in countries that don't really count. Western Europeans have never had much of an argument with this idea before; why would they start caring now?
Actually, I've been surprised they've made as much noise about it as they have. I assume it's for show.
I have laughed at the Antichrist stuff for years. I’m not laughing quite so hard anymore.
hindering their ability to kill their neighbors is a violation of their rights. This, in turn, gives them a right to kill us. It’s quite simple really.

Beautiful, just effin beautiful. I hope our fearless leaders see your point of view.
But that goes without saying. I mean, if it somehow ever came to pass that we were at war with, oh I don't know, Canada we'd take out their sites. If this were all that Russia were saying she wouldn't have said anything.
The real answer is that 40% of Russia's foreign policy strategy is based on trying to say scary things so that other nations will do her bidding. Russia doesn't want these missile-shield sites installed in Poland (for whatever paranoid reason) and so, she is trying to say scary things in the hopes that Westerners will get scared enough that it won't happen.
Whether it will work remains to be seen.
Apparently all has been forgiven about Beslan
Putin stuck his foot in his mouth.
If Russia attacks Poland, I feel he will regret
the day that he did, because the response will be
so overwhelming, and disasterous for the Russian people.
He may want to think, and blink, of what he says. He will get more than he bargained for.
Bullfrog
They have been testing for the last three years and just as recent as 10 days ago they hit every payload!
God Bless Ronald Wilson Regan for the “Star Wars Initiative”. It's going to protect our Country from the likes of Putkin, Chavez and our lurking enemies in the ME>
BTW, this program took more than 20 years to develop.
Just think if we started DRILLING NOW for oil where we would be in 8-10 years.

Ding, ding, ding - we have a winnah!
NATO and Russia had a iaison mission. One is based in Moscow. There is also a Branch Office in NATO HQ. It was all part of confidence building measures between the two sides. Russian and NATO ships conducted joint anti-terrorism patrols and international rescue missions etc. Military exercises would be pre-announced and each side would send observers to monitor. Russia will probably now cut all such ties.

ruh roh is right.
Hitler's and Stalin's invasion of Poland started World War 2.
Britain and France had a treaty with Poland to protect it against such invasion. And they honored it by declaring war on Germany.
Vlad the Impaler needs to make sure he wants to take this path, because the last time Russia decided to invade Poland turned out to be darned bloody.
AMEN!!!! (and i rarely use caps).
The President prevented the Russians from using their nuclear arsenal on Poland, and used the threat from Iran (whom Putin has constantly supported) as an excuse.
I’m sure Putin misunderestimated the Pres just like every other one of our enemies.
or, they need money!
the checkens, that is.
anybody vacationed in beautiful grozny?
He isn’t. Poland is a full NATO member. What the Russian hotheads are saying is that in accepting the U.S. ABM base Poland has just earned itself some pre-targeted instant buckets of sunshine if an all out war breaks out and it goes nuclear. By that time it will be mutually assured destruction and Europe, Russia and North America will all be glass parking lots.
