Most “young voters” have the attention span of an ameoba. Folks, it’s only August and the election is about 75 days away.
Students are going back to college to enjoy their regular routines. Therefore, most will “forget” to vote.

The Chosen One is in a box. If he wades into the muck and throws negative ads at McCain he no longer looks like The Messiah, but a mere mortal. Where's the hope for change there???
BTW, I've never believed this the youth vote will finally show up this year stuff. I've heard that from the Dims every year since the 60's and it ain't happened yet.

Another thought for the Hillary-as-veep mill: if she’s the veep, there go all the “new” “young” and “hopeful” voters.

My 13 year old daughter has heard better pitches from a “throw this ring and win this prize” at a carnival.
Kids are quite savvy and have heard nearly every BS sales pitch at the video stores that any of these amateur politicians can offer.
Hope?

while chatting with a twenty something young father...he ASKED me my thoughts on Obama....I said he lacked experience and what experience he DID have was from Chicago’s corrupt political scene........THEN I moved on to McCain...told him that McCain was beaten in the infamous Hanoi Hilton and has proven his devotion to his country....has developed the character needed to lead his country.....he looked sold on McCain to me......said his stepfather was a Viet Nam Vet and he could relate to that. Told him the negatives (to me) about his second marriage and his liberal voting record and nothing dispelled the positive image McCain had made. LOL....it was easy. Hope it stuck. The young adult voters CAN be impressed with this McCain over Obama.

I was NEVER under his spell!! Sorry I can never vote - if I could vote this year - for a MARXIST.
The job is above his pay scale - and his EXPERIENCE, too!!!
